Mary Ormerod

Mary joinedRSG Consulting in 2019 and has conducted extensive research for the FT Innovative Lawyers and FT Intelligent Business Reports. She continues to lead this research, and to write and develop content for the FT and RSGI on the evolution of the practice and business of law.

Recently, Mary led the development of the RSGI Green Print report, which charts the commitment made by corporate law firms to sustainability. She continues to lead research into how sustainability intersects with the legal industry.

Mary helped direct the market-leading virtual format for the FT Innovative Lawyers awards and Global Summits in 2020 and 2021. She has interviewed leading General Counsel from around the world to chart how the role has evolved for the FT General Counsel Report.

In 2021 Mary analysed years of FT Innovative Lawyers to help develop RSGI’s Interwoven report and frameworks on the evolution of the practice of law, and helped training materials as part the RSGInspire programme. Mary also worked on latest RSG-India Report and its first India Summit.

Mary is a historian by training and is currently completing an LLM in Constitutional Politics, Law and Theory.
